Brawl has no Friend Codes.
It uses your Wii Number and automatically detects whether or not the people on your list have Brawl.
And if you are both playing Brawl at the same time, it will tell you a friend is online.
Cool, huh?
The sweetness... =P
The second feature was actually shown in a video of the USA version.
Woah cool. I'm gonna need Yoshiman's wii number. O_o
Thats great :P Its still not the best option for online play but it is better than friend codes.
What is the video with the online thing in it?

But under the wifi section on the dojo, it said you have to enter a separate friend code.
