has anyone used this? It only worked with a few games, I have it and Yoshi's Safari, it's a fun game, but the Super Scope drains batteries quickly
I never used a super scope before but, I would asume it does drain batteries quickly since my friend has one.
:(
I miss mine. :(
But I have a Power Glove! :)
I had it, and yes it is a battery sucker that eats AA's like there is no tomorrow
Yes, I still have the box. The only game I own for it is Yoshi's Safari though. I used to have this other game though...can anyone think of the game name for me? I can't remember. It had a picture of this green robot type enemy you had to kill on the cartridge.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. It's called Battle Clash.
I also owned Tin Star.
I don't think I ever had the Super Scope, but I know I had the gun, what was it called again? The Zapper? It was the one that you played Duck Hunt with.

Yeah, Zapper.
I only owned a Super Gameboy.
Super Gameboy is cool, I wish I had one.
Yeah, the Super Scope uses 6 AA's. :|

And it only worked with two games basically.
I found a Super Scope, and I'm going to buy it soon.
I have the NES Zapper, though.

Me too, even though it is useless because I don't have a CRT TV anymore.
The Zapper relies on a flash of light from the tubes of a CRT TV. The screen goes black for a fraction of a second and the gun senses whether or not it is pointing over a square that is around a target.
The Super Scope uses a sensor, so it can be used on LCD TVs. Too bad there are very few games for it.

So buy one. They're dirt cheap.

And I'm looking at one right now on Amazon for $6.60. That includes shipping.
Like I said...dirt cheap.
I had a friend who owned one way back when. I remember it not being that fun though. He had a virtual boy too and that was even worse; it's not wonder that it failed so miserbly. The controls were absolutely horrid, it strained the eyes, and your neck would hurt after like 10 minutes of playing it.
