Title: Hooray for leaks.

Footage of the leaked Sonic game called Sonic Unleashed.

I actually like it because:

1. Sonic is running fast.
2. There are 2D sections.

SEGA is gonna be mad.  ::)

Quick, download it before SEGA takes it down.

Sega won't take it down, they likely leaked it themselves.

Do you think that leak Nintendo had that revealed those characters in Brawl was not intentional? I do.

That's a lot different...

Brawl was already in stores, some people just got it early.

This game hasn't even been officially ANNOUNCED.

Don't matter. Leaks are never unintentional, they are always planned.

Well SEGA had it on one of their sites for like an hour and took it down.

Expect a game announcement very soon.

Even if they had planned it, of course they'd still take the site down. They have to make it look like they didn't plan it.

This might have potential.

That's what I thought about Sonic the hedgehog (360) though. I was very very wrong.

I will most likely buy this though.

A few things though:

-The background music annoyed me to no end.
-It could have just been the video, but it looked like there were sudden, common frame rate drops, especially when Sonic started speeding along. That's not good.
-It looks like Sonic Adventure more than Sonic (360). That's not a complaint; quite the opposite.

I agree.

I would actually buy a Sonic game if this was good (And I want good voice actors!)!

in other words, the SA2 actors.
(4kids suck)

but man if this is on the Wii, I'll be very happy.
they can down the graphics, right?

If you're going that fast, I'd be more worred about framerate than graphics. I rather have it run at 60FPS constantly than it skipping between 15 30 and 60 at random intervals because of overuse of polygons.

Yeah, me too.

Even though the Wii handled Sonic and the Secret Rings at 60 FPS.

Also, I hope the whole game isn't on rails, it just seems like an attempt to make Sonic SEEM like he's running fast.

Taken down for a copyright claim. I don't know who the ninny is here, though: Sega or YouTube. Sega has been known to be a prick when it came to copyrights, but meh.

Why? TVs only display 24FPS or something along those lines. Something like 60FPS would cause lots of screen tearing.

Actually, I bet the wii could handle that, especially if it really is 2.5d. Perfect example: Brawl.

Also, someone on NS2 made a good point of that. A lot of the things, if you look closely, are actually stuff that doesn't need a good graphics engine, but still looks good. All and all, provided they bring back Drummond and co, that looks like it could be really good.
