Title: What a surprise...
Post by: tibar7 on March 25, 2008, 02:59:21 PM
Wow, Bowser was pretty much my worst character in melee, and now in Brawl, he's one of my best suddenly. I've only played 5 matches so far with him and won 3 straight both by two stock difference. I would never had seen this coming.

I feel Bowser has improved, but he still doesn't fit my needs. However, I play as heavy hitters in Brawl more now, than previously. I can't share which ones in particular, as I am saving that for a certain match.

Brawl's heavy hitters are much better than Melee's. That includes previous Melee heavy hitter, Bowser, as you've seen. For example, I excell with small, fast characters, such as Kirby, Meta Knight Yoshi, and Ness. However, I'm also good with King Dedede and Ike (broken lol). It just seems that the larger characters now are actually more powerful, and can sponge the damage that they get for being so slow.

Bowser is better... but still not that good sadly.
I liked Koopa Klaw better.

But the heavy hitters have lost a little speed, IE G-dorf.
This lets them be totally raped by fast combos, like IC, Wolf, etc.

Yeah G-dorf is really slow in brawl.

In my opinion, they SEVERLY slowed him down.

However, that infinite jump glitch is handy sometimes! :)
