Title: So, I finally met one of them Xbox Live gamers on TF2. (PC)
Post by: LinkXLR on March 28, 2008, 11:34:35 AM
I thought that people always exaggerated when talking about them. That they were really at least slightly intelligent.

I WAS FREAKIN' WRONG.

He constantly said crap like, "Stupid f***ing red team you suck so much, I'm pwning all of you."
This continued for about 5 minutes. He got banned then.

AND HE CAME BACK AGAIN.

I left after that.
Are XBox Live gamers REALLY this freaking bad?!

Not all, but a good majority of them are, or at least most of the ones from Halo 3 are.

Most of the people I play with on Team Fortress 2 barely talk anyway.

I play on Xbox 360.

They mainly complain that the host is taking too long to start the game.

Xbox Live can transform people.

My friend and I were playing on it and he is generally a nice kid.

Every other word was a curse, I thought he was gonna go homicidal   :|

I put the volume down on Xbox Live so I can concentrate.

But there was this one game where someone got confused with the game mode, and I tried to help him out. Called me a dumba**.
A**.

Oh, and pwn = own = same saying and pronunciation, as seen on Pure Pwnage.
But you can say it both ways.
Pwn = pawn, pown, and own.

I've only played online a few times... and it was through Halo.  Funniest stuff ever.. listening to people go off and be random and whatnot... too funny, too funny.  Random references, singing, etc.

Partly why I got the game.  It's fun on it's own but then all that just adds to it. xD

I think it is, anyway.

On the match, the guy was arguing that he would "poon" the blu team, and then everyone got into a silly argument about how pwn is pronounced.

Of course, being the silly person I am, typed out "pwn = phone" several times.

Only on games like Halo and crap.

Rock Band/GH gamers are usually nice, at least those I've played with. Made conversation with one of them during a song/waiting for a band, although he did say he was drunk...
