Title: How is Master Quest?
Post by: Daft Pink on March 29, 2008, 11:38:00 AM
I've considered getting it, but how is it? I have passed OoT several times, and I really wanna check out Master Quest. I do like challenges, but I usually can't think outside of the box, as much as my force myself to do so. I still wanna get it though. Should I?

The only differences are the dungeons are laid out. They require you to know a few tactics that most people wouldn't have known otherwise, like using flaming deku sticks to knock down bomb flowers that cling to walls.

Overall, the dungeons aren't much harder, but it's still a pretty cool game to own if you loved OoT.

it's pretty cool, some of the puzzles make you think pretty hard, actually.  I got stumped in the shadow temple a couple times I think.

in terms of glitches though, you can skip everything you could skip in OoT and more (you can skip the trials without going out of bounds), but it requires different methods (hookshot skip was just discovered the other day :P).

but OoT was completely broken down by glitchers.  I can't think of a game that was more torn apart than OoT. o_O
