Indeed... Centuries pass in the blink of an eye... In the inevitable years, all things slowly fade...

Indeed... Centuries pass in the blink of an eye... In the inevitable years, all things slowly fade...

....And every year of our sad, miserable lives is spent. Inevitabley, inevitabley, for every flicker of the candle thats not meant to be. Happy Birthday? No such thing.

Birthdays... Why do we celebrate another year closer to extinction?

If we die, at least we know it was a good party.

Not for all. Not for the poor, or the weak, or those who are cursed with terminal diseases...

True

Sometimes, the sad truth is unavoidable, and it saves your heart pain by accepting it, and later ignoring it...

Thats how I usually cope with it. Anything can happen in a year, but only the good things are remembered.

But dwelling on the good things will only make the pain worse when the sorrows of the world are brought out once more.

Indeed. Yet hope endures for eternity but so does doubt. Two conflicting sides wage war in our souls till the end of time, never letting lease on the other.

And in the end, doubt always lingers, even if it is defeated.

Doubt remains through hell fire and blade purging, but, as long as there is doubt, there is hope. One cannot exist without its brother of opposite nature.
