Title: Ok, I need a better video card.
Post by: Tupin on March 31, 2008, 06:41:31 PM
I have an NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (It's a laptop) and I want to play some games, but according to System Requirements, I  have everything but a good video card. It's only 64.0 MBs.  :|

What is a good video card for under $100 if I wanna run games like TF2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator?

I would recommend a better video card than what you have.

You can't upgrade laptop video cards... Unless it's not built in.

Why not just use a desktop? Or do you wanna play games while not at your house?

It doesn't say whether it is integrated or not...

But it says it can support up to a 1071 MB card, so it must not be....

Eitherway, it's exteremley difficult to change a graphics card inside of a laptop.

It's possible somehow.. but its more or less useless to actually go that fast.

The GeForce 6150 series is integrated. Avoid at all costs.

As for graphics, I plan on getting the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150247)
