Not sure about the U.S, but canada got those games in cereal boxes...

Putt-Putt goes to the moon was my FAVORITE PC game when I was a kid.

The same guy who made Monkey Island was the co-founder of the company that made these games.  :|

Ron Gilbert was the lead designer on most of them.
