I have Windows, and I don't see what's so bad about. :P
They hate Vista, not Windows in general.
I've used Windows all my life, and aside from a few viruses which I've deleted and 2 very rare BSOD's, I've had very minimal problems with the OS itself.
The programs, however, can either be great, or suck balls. Screw you, Movie Maker.
Windows isn't that bad, it's just a lot of Microsoft's other software that's really poopty.
I have Vista, the only bad part are those darn alerts that make the screen go black for about 5 seconds on my laptop. >:(
Windows isn't THAT bad, it's bothersome to me. XP was a fine OS, although, it would be nice to have Ubuntu with a virtual machine with XP on it :P

People hated Windows before Vista was announced. I, myself, grew up with Windows.
I like Windows, it just has quite a bit of problems.
I'm not switching, not yet.
I like Windows, personally. It's just that Vista is a horrible operating system.
The only other thing that can really compare is Mac OS. I really don't see how an OS you download from a website can be better than Windows quite frankly.

Woot XP?
I guess I should be glad to have XP then? :P
Vista isn't bad; everyone's too stuck to XP to realize that.
The only new thing in Vista is Aero really, everything else has been reworked and worded differently so no one can find anything anymore, thus causing people to ninny.
My only problem is that it uses quite a bit of RAM for apparently no reason, and Aero requires an unusually good graphics card (Or It's just because I'm looking into running it at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200.)

Especially on my Laptop/Vista. I made two movies, a YTP and a video of GH3. I uploaded it to YouTube and it stopped at certain parts D:
when it doesn't work....thats when people complain
I have XP. It works a heck of alot better than Vista.
Exactly what is soooo bad about Vista? Cause I'm getting a new computer leter this year so...

Linux is awesome. I've tried Ubuntu, Knoppix, Fedora, and a few other distros and they've all been better than Windows IMO.
That's like saying "i don't see how a browser you download from a website can be better than internet explorer quite frankly"

Point proven.
Still prefer Windows to everything else, though if I actually spent time with the Mac OS I might like it.

If you really wanted to, you could find a virtual machine somewhere, download some distro of Linux, and see what you like the best, Mac OS, Linux, or Windows :P

I haven't used it myself, but I heard it crashes a lot, and it's harder to find files.
Crashing itself is a problem, but once you get used to the folder arrangement I'm sure
it wont be a problem.

MapleStory works fine on Vista. That pop-up you get is the OS failing :)

How does that prove the point?
yeah actually using another operating system other than windows might help.

ok. i thought you were implying i prove your point and that you thought internet explorer was better than firefox or opera, which would have prompted me to smack you.
