I need to download some music, and of course, not pay (as I don't have to), so, where should I go to do so?
Note two things:
1. Limewire Sucks
2. I am not getting Bit Torrent or any other Torrent
Thanks :)

1. Yes it does.
2. Then you're not getting any music without paying for it.
You're welcome :)

Frostwire is the hot sister of Limewire, but it's not much different. Just a little better.
That's all I can really suggest...though if you want to, you could always try looking for albums on rapidsearch.yi.org.
Limewire does not suck... Well it does at times. Not sure on what you can use, my friends use U-torrent, but I could Dl the music for you and then Rapidshare/Megaupload it.
I just use Google Blog Search to find albums on Rapidshare. Doesn't always yield a result though.
Illegal versions of MP3 Rocket, Google, etc.
Worked for me.
www.sonicx.com is a good one.
don't like limewire?
then download limewire pro off of limewire for free.
works alot better.
then again, I have no fear of using programs like limewire, because it's legal to download music off the interbutts in Canada. :D
But Mack, torrents are so awesome. :(

...it's not a question of whether downloading music is illegal or not, it's a question of
paying for it. I highly doubt that it's legal to d/l in Canada without paying the artist for the track, either.

Wow, that's kind of stupid, especially since they passed a law that requires 40% of all music broadcast in Canada to be from Canadian artists. :|

same with TV. intercourse the CRTC, i want to watch american shows.
that means DETROIT RED WINGS HOCKEY, NOT MAPLE LEAFS, IDIOTS. :|
it leads to CBC having piece of crap shows on nearly 24/7 like little mosque (who the F watches that?) and corner gas (not even funny :|). not to mention coronation street. who watches it? HONESTLY!
Yes, PY, he speaks the truth. We have many nice laws, like being allowed to download DVD's for free, providing they aren't distributed.
I am Canadian, so as Jono said, it isn't an issue of the law, however, I would prefer visiting a site overloaded with ads, then a site that is shady, if that is any constellation.
consolation? :P
constellation is a star formation. o_O
