It has to be Halo 3. The only one that blew me away was the first one.
Also, I do NOT see what everyone likes in Okami. Sure, the art style is awesome, but it's just meh IMO. :-\

I liked Majora's Mask, sort of creeps me out nonetheless. Heck, it took me six months to beat Ocarina of Time! I got the Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition back in 2003. From Christmas 2003 to May 28, 2004! I'll never forget my showdown against Ganondorf. As for Majora's Mask, lets say I didn't understand the whole time situation later on until the Summer. I started playing it for a year I think? No, I beat the game May 29, 2005, however I got all the masks during the Summer. Hey, wanna hear a cool infinite Song of Storms trick? Play the song in the skullata house at Deku Swamp and it'll rain forever, even when you reenter the room!

Besides Halo, I'd say the NiGHTS games. I bought Journey for Dreams for the Wii expecting something amazing, and sure, the art and music were great, but other than that I was sorely disappointed. I sold it to help pay for Brawl and don't regret it a bit (unlike my other games that I stupidly traded in).

I agree. I didn't find Halo 3 that great, but I'm not into most FPS games anyway. I like third-person shooters and 2D shooters, but the only FPS games I'm interested in are the Metroid Prime games, and Bioshock (once I rent it, that is).

You played the worst Final Fantasy.
Most overrated game:
1. Final Fantasy 7 (face it, it's so freakin overrated. Gameplay actually got WORSE when you think about it)
Runner up: Halo 3 for sure. Way too overhyped for a mere add-on for Halo 2
Most overrated SERIES:
1. Kingdom Hearts (good gawd the gameplay isn't even that good. Hell, at some points I didn't even MOVE and I still beat the boss by spamming X)
2. Halo. Jeezus christ these fanboys need to realize it's just a first person shooter that doesn't do anything even remotley origional in terms of overall gameplay. At least BIOSHOCK had a great story, great gameplay, and made you actaully FEEL something while playin other than "ZOMG NOOBS DIE!"

because the majority of fans over hyped it, and where hoping basically just for another OOT. Personally i loved the game, it was a great experience. Sure some points where a bit easier then they could of been, but it was a great game still.

Hype can ruin anything, especially if a game cannot live up to it, even more so when it was delayed twice.

I just love how LoZ fans asked for an OoT clone, they got an OoT clone, and then they complained about minor faults.
I didn't ask for an OoT clone, and I'm a Zelda fan. I wanted something more spectacularly original like Wind Waker.
I still thought TP was good, but it's not in my favorites list.

A bit ironic how most people were complaining about the cel-shaded look when it was announced.

It's true, TP sucked ass, the only one I really liked was Wind Waker.
What was wrong with TP? I thought it was an awesome game. The new Link style, the story, the levels, the bosses, everything. It was really good. I never got why people dislike it so much.
It was a wannabe OOT.
Heck no. There was nothing bad about it at all

Then what would you consider overrated
Halo 3
Brawl
Ocarina of Time
Super Mario Bros 3
Super Mario World
FFVII
etc.
The list goes on and on. But really, as a whole, games always have some hype. It is the duty for the game to reach or exceed that hype. But if it does not reach the amount of hype, the game is usually considered overrated. That's why hyped games are almost always overrated.
Halo 3 had colossal amounts of hype. No way in hell it would ever reach it.
Brawl had lots of hype for the Subspace Emissary, but failed to reach the amount of hype needed.
Final Fantasy VII....don't get me started.
The point is that all hyped games tend to be overrated after their release.
THE END.

You can't really call it a series, really. Doesn't a series normally have things in it that all have to do with each other?
Other than X-2, and FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus/Advent Children/Crisis Core, none of them actually continue a story line (Which IS good, I wouldn't want around 15 games and a movie about one storyline >_> ). It isn't really a series, it's a bunch of games with the same name, and most of them with the same fighting style.

Cheap drama, that only 13 year old girls would like.
Gay looking characters that make 13 year old wapanese girls cream their panties.
Too much dialog.
Not only that, but the hideous cosplay costumes fans make.
Fans who draw those weird ass porn with the animals from the game. Those Big bird looking things.
FF makes peoples minds turn into mush.
Is that better?
Obviously, the most overrated game ever is ET.

They all contain similar elements, ranging from magic and characters to creatures and landscapes, so I don't see why it wouldn't be considered a series. It doesn't have to follow a storyline through every one.

I hated how it told you where to go, that takes away some of the challenge super metroid has. I would have liked it more than Super if it didn't tell you where to go.
