It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo has failed to deliver on a promise. Perhaps Reggie meant the two import VC titles were the surprise? Sure, it is October 1st, but it is practically next to the end of September.
Either way, had the surprise been the Check Mii Out channel, it still would have been a disappointment.
well, we don't know what the surprise is, but there were announcements throughout September that they may have been the 'surprise' but we didn't know because they did not say "here's the September Surprise."
