A pretty old topic, I just feel like saying it now. What do you think should be improved about the Mii channel if you could go back before it was made and convince the developers?
I think I'd like if they made it so that:
- Games don't render Miis uniquely but rather import the model from the Mii Channel so it would be allowing updates to the Mii system (the game might still be able to change Miis' appearance slightly, but Mii channel has enough control to have many updates)
- Updates to Miis can be downloaded with system updates or installed by Wii games.
- Mouth and eyes would be less fixed in one shape (so that emotions can actually change rather than constantly having the mouth open or whatever)
- Ears exist
- More available hairstyles, eye styles, etc.
- New face shapes that actually have the front of the face not be completely flat
- Hats can be a different color than shirt
- Games can add certain features, like a Mario hat, or possibly even download a non-Mii character for use in Mii situations (i.e. having Super Mario Galaxy import its Mario 3D model into the Mii Channel or Link from Twilight Princess and make them be playable in Wii Sports or whatever). Other examples can be adding features to Miis like Link's Hat, the Master Sword, a bag from Pokemon, Deku Scrub-style Miis, hairstyles from characters, etc.
- Different clothing styles other than just t-shirt/black pants or the skirt in female Miis
- Possibly importable/downloadable/selectable textures for clothing and hats
I dunno if it says anything about the Mii system that Pokemon Battle Revolution chose to ignore Miis in favor of their own trainer creation. I hope Animal Crossing Wii does something similar, honestly, because I don't think Miis would work very well with Animal Crossing.
All of the above.
It would be nice if Nintendo released an update for the Mii channel that had more stuff in it.

It's impossible.
Games each have their unique ways to render Miis. If a new Mii part is made and you try to load one that has it in an older game, the game would likely freeze.
