Unless you malfunction or get shut down. Robots also can't touch electricity nor water. And who knows, you just might need to recharge yourself at times. What if you were shut down in the middle of nowhere and were stuck there for life w/out anyone knowing

Not sure why, but water makes metal rust, which is Rob. As for Pikachu, he still takes damage from his attacks.
