It's completely based upon which games you prefer, there is no definite console that is better than the others this time around.

Not like the N64 vs. the Dreamcast vs. the PS.

They all had the same type of variety, but the N64 was the triumphant one! :)

So, is that why the PlayStation sold over 100 million units and the Nintendo 64 only sold 39 million?

All that shows is what people bought.

People bought E.T. for the Atari...doesn't mean it was good game, does it?

Xbox 360 is teh best. Wii is good too, but mostly what I play on it is SSBB, Galaxy, and Sega Superstar Tennis. With the PS3, most of the good games on it can also be found on Wii and/or 360, but for exclusive games, the only good exclusive games on it are MGS4, Ratchet & Clank Future, and Warhawk. That's why I bought a 360 instead of a PS3, even though I'm a long-time Sony fan.

It all depends. I think that the PS3 is better, but the prices screwed me over, so I wanted a Wii, I always have the next gen for Nintendo, but I can't find it if my life depended on it. So, all that was left was a 360, and it has a good price and it's available.

So right now, the 360 is the best, unless your lucky as hell and find a Wii(or already have one) or you got money.
