And altogether I had a great time. I'll break down each part of the trip into its own section.
The Mariners Baseball game:
It was a good game (Mariners beat the Rangers 5-1), with plenty of action, suspense, funny errors and crowd reactions. The food was alright, but pretty good for sports food (I had fries, a hotdog and some water).
The Jethro Tull concert:
Simply AMAZING. That band really put on a show, and one I won't soon forget. Incredible songs, muscianship, some funny jokes and the crowd was appreciative and great overall. I've been a fan of Jethro Tull's music before but this is the first time I've seen Ian Anderson and his band in concert. A great experience anyways. After the show 3/5 of the band stuck around to give out autographs. :)
@ The people (Americans):
For the most part everyone we ended up talking to, meeting and seeing acted well and respectful. The exception being where two people completely ignored the fact that we held the door open for them. I felt that was pretty rude, but rude people will be everywhere I suppose.
I'm happy that I had a good trip, but I'm also glad that I'm back in Canada now. ^_^
Yeah, I had a good trip in Seattle anyways. I'll probably be going down again sometime next year for something or another.
Also at the motel we stayed at had the best continental breakfast service ever...
It had:
Waffles (via a waffle maker), Bagels, Yogourt, Muffins, Streudals, Toast, Tea, Coffee, Milk, Cereal, Fruits (3+ different types) and Eggs. There might even be more. o.o
Usually the average continental breakfast consists of bread/cereal or a donut, so I was pretty surprised. I ended up having something different everyday. :D
hey tkb <3
So, you encountered Americans, eh?
Quite an interesting specimen, we are. ;D

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Americans live below the Canadian border. :P
Interesting none the less. :P
I'm probably one of the only Americans that knows the entire Canadian national anthem. ;D

*pulls out American stereotypes*
You're all fat and stupid. :O j/k
No Ichiro ball I see. :(
xD
Good to see you had a good time, and darn, that's some breakfast. =O
See, we Americans aren't bad people. Who invented that stereotype anyway? It sounds like people are trying to pick fun at the smart nation.

Ah, sterotypes </3
I refuse to believe that you're Canadian. I didn't see one "eh?" in that post.
Hey, where are the pictures!?!?
Welcome back!

You know something that only 30% of canadians >_>
Yes, us Americans do own. Well, me, at least. However, why go to Seatlle? [Besides it's probably the biggest major city near you] The Seahawks suck >=O Mariners, too. Go to a Yanks game, why don't you?

Yeah it was pretty crazy. It was just a typical motel too, which surprised me. :P
Thanks.
@ Rayquarian:
The stereotype remains because the minority keep the stereotype true. I've personally seen some bad/stupid behaviour on my past trips to the US. Its a shame that its only a handful of people that keep stereotypes like that along with all the canadian ones in effect.
@ Húrin:
Refuse all you want. I am a Canadian and have been all my life. I hate stereotypes. >_>
@ StarWindWizard7:
I didn't get many pictures because it was raining for the majority of the 3 day visit.
@ ResidentZoidberg:
Because its the closest big US city to me, and often events that my family enjoys take place there. We try to go down once a year. I've been to New York and saw a Yankees game, thank you very much. No need to bash Seattle; I'm not bashing anyone.
And why do you guys keep saying you own? I wasn't saying anything to that extent besides the people we met being nice. I'm not meaning any offense in that statement, anyways.

I wouldn't say that its weird, since its common for the North West US/South West Canada to get rain in the fall. :P
