Title: Most underrated classic game?
Post by: Tupin on April 24, 2008, 04:05:22 PM
On the NES, I say Wrecking Crew. Everyone seems to hate this game but it is pretty awesome.

On the SNES, Earthbound and Chrono Trigger, obviously.

The N64's game has to be Pilotwings 64. This game was covered up by Super Mario 64.

The GCN had Luigi's Mansion, Cubivore, and Beyond Good and Evil.

OMG! I have the BEST SNES game that not a lot of people have heard of! Wild Guns! Endless hours have been spent by me on this game, recently me and my friends have been playing it and are all hopelessly addicted to it!  It is one of those move your curser around to shoot the bad guys, there are robots and stuff though it is in the wild west setting! Look it up, it is a blast!

Cubivore was a lot of fun, even if it made no sense.

I really want to play Wrecking Crew. Put together Mario, Golden Hammers, and Eggplant Man, and you've got yourself a good game, I guess :P

NES, Wrecking Crew as well

SNES, TMNT in time was actually really good

N64, Bomberman 64 was also great

GCN, Chibi Robo AND Shadow the hedgehog were both great games but were given bad scores D:

What the hell are you talking about? They're both overrated. Chrono Trigger is one of the most overrated games ever, really.

NES: Smash TV, Arkista's Ring, Bible Adventures

SNES: Death and Return of Superman-  Classy brawler!
No, it wasn't deep. Yes, the enemies were repetitive.  But it was fun, and it covered a great story arc.

OXO, it's considered the first video game with graphics and no one ever thinks about it.
