Title: Do Soda companies get sued?
Post by: DededeCloneChris on April 26, 2008, 12:41:42 PM
I mean, we have Coca-Cola, but then, there is another mark (Example: Select) with the same taste but different logo, have you ever thought why is there another soda with the same flavor but with a different company?

They don't get sued for being rip-offs. Even if they taste the same they still might choose the other brand.

Actually, Coke bottles for several of those "knock offs." While many think they are indeed knock offs, they are actually the same thing. So, the question is, why pay more for the same thing? Packaging.

So, the likely reason as to why it tastes the same, is because it is the same.
