Title: Fox's shine
Post by: Metalbott on April 26, 2008, 03:17:43 PM
It can levitate.

Is there any way to put this to good use?

The only possible way I found is levitating above opponents, or using it to screw up their timing.

Fighting Tabuu on Intense, the Reflector is pretty useful like that.

It is good for stalling while in the air during matches, wait for you opponent to come at you, then side-b to other side of stage for safety.

I have seen people use this the most.

Of course if they do it TOO Much, it becomes predicatable thus rendering kind'a useless.  :-\

Well it is, you just need to learn ways to use it as a advantage.

Stalling in the air is not a advantage.

Before Brawl, any one who knew what smash was said that if they changed Fox's reflector he would be screwed.
Well, reflector is changed and Fox is screwed.
No more shine Combos, no more shine KO's, none of it.

It was wrecked, and therefore I say it is useless.

Never said stalling in the air is a advantage now did I? I said is could be useful... I also said to find some advantages besides the shine combos, work with the shine a bit and I am sure you will find a good use out of it. Don't be so quick to put it down.

Staling in the air can be useful, I do it with Mario, it helps me time my aerials better (Msmash ;)) and throws my opponents off their timing :O
