I heard that in the future that there will be Nintendo Wii channel updates for SSBB that will add new characters, songs, stages, and the whole sha-banga-bang.
What do you guys think of the chances of this ever happening?

Yeah, it's not true, I heard the same thing on a website, stating it was from nintendo. However, notice if you did see it had "Markerproducer?" and it was also given out on April 1? what does that equal?

If you thought out your post, you would realize there is such a thing called Pay and Play where Nintendo plans to make their online experience better for a small price and it is rumored to have DLC.
So it is very much possible, although a Wii-Harddrive would be needed.

It is far from likely, in fact, a set of users ran a prank at NS2 that said it was confirmed, and provided evidence. Pay and Play could be the answer, but Sakurai told us that there would be no dl content.

hmm a wii-hardrive would probably be too much. it would be nice if there was one that would just fit right on like the xbox's.
Nintendo should fix their online play before adding these features. Online gaming is the way to the future and they aren't even competing with Microsoft. But it would be cool to have DLC.
if they make a wii hardrive...
