I bought mine the day it came out.
I waited in front of the Toys R Us for 2 nights and 2 days (first in line) for the pre-sale.
I got a PS3 pre-sale that same day. :D

I bought it, but it was for Christmas.  I bought it on eBay & it took me like 4 days to get one, lol.  I wanted one that came bundled with WiiPlay & I wasn't going to spend no $400 either!!  I would get up in the middle of the night to check on auctions, LOL.   The one I finally got ended at 2:45 my time.

I was lucky enough to get my wii on launch midnight. I could not reserve it so I planned on waiting in a line for five hours so I went to my local gamestop to reserve a few wii games before the launch. The clerk asked me if if reserved a wii and I said no. She whispered to me if I'll like tow. It turners out she was about to become the manager of a store that opened up a few weeks later and I reserved it there before that gamestop even opened. The on launch midnight she let us in a about  to  minutes before midnight.
