Today in the Library she comes up to me and goes:
Her: "You uh like still like that Daft Punk band don't you?"
Me: "Yeah, why?"
He: "Well because I've like read like 15 reviews that said they were like the worst band ever"
Me: "Um, okay"
Her: "I mean The Rolling Stones like said they were the worst band ever and the Rolling Stones are the best"
Me: "No bias there"
Her: "Well, like, they sucks cuz they are techno"
Me: "Okay, at least I don't listen to Fall Out Boy"
This girl also says she's going to be a stripper when she grows up so she can buy Pete Wince :|.

Pete Wentz is going to be more ugly than he is now when she's older, she realizes that, right? I might start listening to Daft Punk as I got into electronica/techno recently by listening to DJ AnounymOS's songs on his YouTube channel. The newest song has been stuck in my head since I first listened to it.

I mention he's engaged every day.
She want's to get a nose job too. She also has a crush on some fag that tries to make himself look like Pete Wince, I laugh every time I see him.
Sadly I'm not going to call her plenty of things since she's the principals daughter.
My friend got intercourse ed by the principal because he told his mom she was mean to him.

but there are some songs that are exceptions to that.

techno can have vocals, but they're usually samples.
And it's hard for me to think that someone could not like a kind of music just because there are no vocals. It kinda says to me that the person only appreciates electronic music as a backup and not as the center of attention, which it should be.

I think I'd like it that way. It seems as though once a genre becomes mainstream, it starts to suck badly. Take, for example, rap and hip-hop. Early 90's stuff wasn't too bad. Today's stuff is horrid.

o ok
I seem to find that electronic songs are funkier when there's at least a sample of vocals.
just my thoughts though.
Haha. Look, most of what I listen to is "classic rock," and not even I can say that The Rolling Stones are "the best." They're incredibly unrefined, considering their original concept was to be the bad boys to the Beatles good boys.
Besides, Jagger isn't that great of a vocalist.

The Stones don't have to be together to have an opinion on another band. Nor do they have to be together to be called "the best."
And they are still together by the way, and possibly releasing another new album soon. And of course, they'll likely keep touring for a while too.
And Daft Punk isn't a band. It's a duo. And they formed in 1993.

Well, they've had a lot of line up changes, but their most recent line-up is still alive and kicking, yes. Jagger and Richards are the only two that have always been in the band, and they're still very alive.

"I mean The Rolling Stones like said they were the worst band ever and the Rolling Stones are the best"
Looks like the band to me, considering it says "The Rolling Stones."
1st time she was talking of the magazine, 2nd about the band.
I see. Well, her loss then, because Rolling Stone is not to be trusted anyway. They're all Nirvanafags over there.
Nirvana isn't that bad >_>
Nor is it that good. Kurt Cobain is in no intercourse ing way deserving of being called the 12th greatest guitarist of all time.

Haha. Look, most of what I listen to is "classic rock," and not even I can say that The Rolling Stones are "the best." They're incredibly unrefined, considering their original concept was to be the bad boys to the Beatles good boys.
Besides, Jagger isn't that great of a vocalist.
Wait...
Was she referring to the magazine or the band?

It's not THAT great. It's OK, really. It doesn't bother me, as most Rock in general doesn't.
