They aren't  THAT much alike. Grizzlies can be 11 foot tall, wookies reach 7 foot, IIRC. Plus, Grizzlie's claws can behead a full grown man with ease, and could probably crush the skull of a Wookie easily.

Wookie. Bears are rough but not quite as intelligent as your average Wookie. I'm sure with some ingenuity a Wookie would be able to kill a bear.

When you say weapon, do you mean like a rifle and knife or are sharp sticks excluded as well?

Grizzly, but I'm pretty sure their claws can't decapitate someone like a human or a wookie.
