Looks like a good choice. But 8 lbs?!
It should be able to play most games at a good decent speed.
Good graphics card, but less than stellar processor for gaming. I want more than 3 USB ports, but that's just me.

Gateway is awsum. My 9-year old Desktop can run HL2 perfectly.
