Title: The customer isn't always right...
Post by: Tupin on May 08, 2008, 01:00:58 PM
Still, I just laugh at the fact that Nintendo is surprised when they find that they are one of the worst companies when it comes to changing products based on consumer interest.

Fanboys may beg for a Zelda/Mario/Metroid game every year, but then it would be a re-hash and they would complain. Or they will get a totally unique game and either complain how it isn't like the others or ignore it all together.

Still, they are a business. Anything that makes money is welcome. That includes you, Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass.  :P

The news is that Nintendo ran a study and found out they suck at giving people what they want.

Wow, Wiifolder made me lol:

QuoteNintendo SHOULD NOT listen to their fanbase.

If they did we would have a Nintendo 360 instead of Wii and Nintendo would be going bankrupt.

We would also have a Zelda game every year, and nothing like Pikmin or Nintendogs.

Fans don?t know what they want - They THINK they do, but they don?t.

When I get something I didn?t know I wanted is when it?s great.

I mean the fans would be REALLY upset if we got voice chat, no friend codes, and Geno/Krystal/Bowser Jr. in Brawl

Sure, sometimes the customer is right.

But if the Nintendo fan got everything they wanted, would there be anything new?
