Title: So....I suppose this feels weird..
Post by: LinkXLR on May 09, 2008, 04:25:00 PM
I'm on probation from Video Games for a week. (My decision)

My social life is dragging, I'm getting really jumpy, I'm sucking at video games, and I really need to stop killing my eyes.(lol) So I bought Rise of the Ogre and am now on day 2 3 of video game probation.

It feels.....oddly good. I've probably needed this for a while.

And also, how about that Doom 4 (http://pc.ign.com/objects/142/14252444.html)?

I fail to see how a break from video games will get you anywhere.

You'd be surprised when Video Games are basically your daily schedule.

Maybe you should cut off from this place as well?

Then were you were lying about your "social life dragging." You just plain don't have a social life, do you?

Noooooooooooooooo I don't have a social life. :|

What, you think I skip school to play games? Sure I don't have a girlfriend yet (Because I found out the girl I wanted to date had a boyfriend) but I have plenty of friends.

Relax, Cujo.

If video games prove to be that much of a problem for your social life, either you don't have one or you have no idea how to set your own priorities, which is kind of pathetic. I manage to play pooploads of video games and yet still do perfectly fine with having a social life. It's not that hard. I never have to take week-long breaks.

Sorry, this is sorta what I meant by jumpy. >_>

I should've put, "and every time I'm killed I panic and get really mad off"

So I'm just taking a longer break. Plus, since I end up putting Video Games in basically everything I talk, I'm trying to think of other things than video games when talking to friends. With VG's off my mind, it's easier to think of a subject to talk about that won't knock points off your rep.

It's proved successful so far. So I'm trying this till Thursday and then I'll get back to VIDYA GAEMS.
