If it IS true, I'm pretty sure the alternates are Titanium, Mithril, Steel, Iron, or any kind of metal. I'm placing my money (not that there IS any. :P ) on Titanium and Mithril.

It seems that it's real. And supposedly it's scheduled for an Autumn 2008 release.

I have heard about this on many different sites today i would defenity say this is real.
With these new snapshots, we can conclude one thing, and that is that this "new game" appears to be the Pokemon Yellow of Diamond and Pearl.
Let's hope it's real. I still have doubts, though. 8)

This new form may be exclusive to Platinum, similar but not identical to how Deoxys differed from game to game. Hmm...
I do believe you'll be able to catch and use this new form.. at least in the new game. That's the impression I'm getting.

I think the coding for the sprites was found already but up until now no one could really explain what it was or meant. I was at Serebii a lot when everyone was getting it imported so we learned a fair amount of the games and what to expect later on.

I always by the special games of the series, and they usually turn out superior. I liked Giratina the best, anyway.
Technically, it isn't a remake. Like Yellow, it is more of a new game altogether. Dawn and Lucas have different outfits, from what I heard. Giratina's new form is called the "Origin Forme." Interestingly, because of the way "forme" was spelled here, the spelling of "form" originally used by Deoxys was retconned. Also, I heard something about Shaymin and Regigigas having new alternate formes as well, though I haven't heard if they can be caught yet. I still want Shaymin, Arceus, Darkrai, and Cresselia to be obtainable without going to events...

Cresselia can be obtained without an event.
1. Beat the PKMN League.
2. Go to Canalave to the sailor's house.
3. Accept the job, and get the item.
4. Track down Cresselia like you would for Mespirit.
