The book is called the abbreviation.

It's all about some whores IM'ing each other. The whole thing looks like an IM. It's a total rape of the English language.

Actually, no, not really.

They aren't using horrid language. They're using generic stuff. u, r, etc.

It's not like they're murdering English. They're more ninny slapping it.

The Amazon reviews for the book are hilarious.

The premise of this book makes me want to cry in a corner.

That sounds harder to get though than the first page of "Sing Down the Moon", a book I had to read during the summer of 6th grade-7th grade.  I couldn't understand a thing :(

If they use all the stuff on that AIM acronym list, I wouldn't be able to understand half of it.  Ever since I took computer applications class in 9th grade, I can type a lot faster and don't need to use a lot of that stuff in instant messages (aside from the common acronyms, like lol, brb, lmao, wtf, etc...)

Sometimes you don't really feel like talking to the person over the phone.
You just want to tell them a quick message and that's it,

Also, with talking on the phone you practically have to be there all the time, when you text, you can answer back whenever you want.
