This?

I'm happy with mine, but I'm not an expert when it comes to computers.  I seem to be at 60% memory left, and I have like 10 albums and three dozen sprites on my Laptop, plus I removed a lot of the pre-installed programs.

It's similar, but I don't think it's the same exact one. Thanks, though.

If you're planning on using it for gaming, the 8600 series is underpowered, and I don't like that it caps at 2~ GB. It could play Orange Box and Oblivion, games along those lines. Just don't expect it to play Crysis on all high, 4x AA, 60+ FPS.

I'm biased, I don't like laptops, so feel free to ignore whatever I say.

How would games like Halo run on it?

Probably a solid 40-50 frames per second on all high, or mostly high.

Thanks. We're (the parents and I) are still debating whether or not to get this laptop, but this will most likely be the one I'm getting.

It's either this or a standard MacBook Pro.

Debate.

It really depends on what you want.

If you want games, then (obviously) go with windows. However, I would choose a Desktop for gaming if I was you.

If you want a better laptop overall (IMO PEOPLE) go with the MacBook Pro. If there's one thing Apple does best, it's their good laptops.

I can run Team Fortress 2 if I run it in a window.

I would prefer to build my own Desktop for much better and cheaper:

New Question: Which laptop would be better for gaming, the MacBook Pro or the HP Pavilion I posted about on the front page? Links:

Problem solved; we're not getting either (I lied). :X I'm getting a different HP laptop; I'm pretty sure it's all around better (than the Pavilion) for about the same price:
