I bought a new Dell Vostro 1500 a few days ago, here are the specs:
QuoteVostro 1500, Intel Core 2 Duo T5470, 1.6GHz, 800Mhz FSB, 2M L2 Cache
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD display with TrueLife for Vostro 1500
2GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 DIMM
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
120G 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Genuine Windows XP Home Edition, SP2
8X DVD+/-RW with double-layer DVD+R write capability, w Roxio Creator
Whatcha think? It's not supposed to be godly, just enough to run WoW. The WoW box said I need a Class 1 or 2 graphics card, which I've got. It also wanted 512MB RAM and a processor that's a bit worse than what I ordered.
Is it any good?
That really isn't that good...

How many frames per second?
Full of meh. >_>
I love 17" screens, can't stand 15.4" ones or smaller..
Since it's a standard screen.. and nothing jumps out at me anywhere else.. um.. I hope you didn't pay much for it. o.o;
As long as it works and runs and you got it cheap and you like it, you're good to go, yeah?
Laptops seem to be really popular lately.

Just a tad bit, eh?
Processor is, at least to me, weak. 2+ GHz, kthx. Also, GeForce 8600 series is underpowered. Go for the 7950, 8800, or the recent 9xxx series.
