I got my laptop yesterday, a Dell Vostro 1500. It's not too great, but good for its $700 price tag. I tried to install WoW on it, but didn't work, so it took me a few hours to get the FIRST INSTALLMENT done. Then came the expansion and all the patches. 0.0
But today, I got everything installed, and it works! :D
My last computers sucked too much to run WoW.
lol WoW
Cool. I just got an HP Pavilion dv6853cl, and I tested the graphics card with HL2 Orange Box Edition, and it can run at the highest settings easily.

Same here, 'cept I used WoW. =D
I got an HP dv9843cl laptop last night, which I am using right now. =D I just beat Portal in one sitting, and there was no visible lag (unlike when I used it on my old computer); it ran flawlessly.
I'm satisfied with it. =)
Lucky I going to have to work all summer to be able to afford my laptop.
I have an HP Pavillion dv6000, and most games I try run pretty well.
The only game I care about running is TF2, and I can run that if I turn the settings down a little.
My Copmaq... I dunno, CT700 or something like that runs Warcraft III on it's highest settings fine. It's a problem when I go to not-bird's eye view, however. It drops from 30 FPS to like 5, just by changing the angle =/

Just run it in a window.
Also, I have the standalone version, IDK if it makes a difference.
