Well, as some of you know, SUPERKOOL and I are creating a steady stream of events for NSF. This is a remake of one on Oldsider, originally hosted by Romulan248, where users could make avy's for selected staff, being that KoH and up could upload their own avatars. Oh, and it was created by a user, Romulan, "hosted" by staff, NOA_MIKE, but being that I am staff and a user, I may as well cover both spectrums. Well, here, anyone can upload their own avatar, but that doesn't stop the staff from wanting nice things <3
Basically, and KoH or up that wants a new avy can edit their name in, either LK can pm me, and I will add their name in. In one week, or less, the contest begins.
The contest:
Make an avatar matching what the theme(s) are/is that the staff member selects. They choose the best one for their tastes, and whomever made it receives the prize, from that staff member. At Oldsider, avy's had to be 36x36, here, they can be any size up to 150x150, however, any staff member may ask for a specific size.
The Staff:
Mackormoses (Local Knight): Smash Bros is my board, so, Smash would be an obvious choice. No More Heroes, Sneasel, Lost Magic, and Star Fox are up there as well, so, be creative. No larger than 130 x 130 for me, in fact, that number is preferred. Flow is key for me.
Prize: For making the winning avy, you can have one of my award winning sigs.
SUPERKOOL (Knights of Hyrule): Abstract Blue, with his name on it....that simple, that hard.
Prize: Nothing Extra at this time
StarWindWizard7 (Financial Adviser): Tales of Symphonia (Genis Sage), Super Smash Bros. (Pit), Angels, Wind Elements, Stars.
Prize: Sig (moving lights)
Dawei (Moderator): Unknown
Prize: Nothing Extra at this time
Silverhawk79 (Admin): Anything cool. Fire Emblem-related is a plus, but not necessary.
Prize: One of my sigs made from scratch, or any one of the sigs in my Photobucket. (http://www.photobucket.com/albums/v338/silverhawk79/sigs)
Riosan (KoH): Portal, Keane, Daft Punk. Extra points for a hilarious Team Fortress 2 picture.
Prize: A random music video I have in my collection, or maybe a CD.
Traditionally, the winners of each staff member received the Icon Master rank, for this, the prize will be a mystery, but each of the above is a bonus, so you know which ones to go for first. Have fun,and may the best avy's win!
Anyone who is anyone will participate. Or be banned.
I'll give it my best shot.

Go with GIMP if you can't pay a couple hundred dollars for Photoshop or any of the other expensive image editors.
You could try Paint.net as well, if you have Windows.
