A topic ripe for debate, but one that I was too lazy to type something good up on. Basically, many dislike Wally mart, but do you? Do you agree with their policies? Do you like/need low prices? Do you work at one? Is there one near you?
For me, I don't care about Wal-Mart, they are just a business that does well on the stock market, and plays the economy, well. I go there, I buy things, I don't care. You?
There's tons of stereo-types for the place...
Personally, I love the convenience. I just had a Super Wal*Mart open VERY close by so 24/7 hours is great for a store with such a varied array of products.
I love going there with friends and buying random crap on occasion. ^_^

I personally have nothing against them.
For the most part they are "Convenient" and they stay open when most stores are closed.
THE ONLY thing I don't like about it is how they Treat there employees.
So many personally close friends of mines worked there and it was literally the worst job/experiences they ever have.
Granted no job/career is fun after a certain time, but they said it was awful.
Hate them.
First, they let the GH controller get stolen and then never put one back. Second, they now lock all the game accessories to the racks, so you cant even get them off. Third, they let their Xbox get the intercourse ing red rings and they still haven't replaced it. Finally, they butchered the Computer game section down to one tiny shelf so they could put loads of Guitar Hero games where they used to be.
Of course It's only a 2 mile drive for me and they are always open. Plus they always have a large stock of most games.
It's nice to shop there. They have what we need. I just hate shopping there for games because it's always masses of the poopty new games and they get like 2 of things like Brawl and GTA IV when they get re-stocked.
There's one within walking distance of my house, and I buy most of my videogames there, unless they don't have it in stock, in which case I go to gamestop. I have no problem with them, their prices are pretty low. I like Target better (they're much cleaner), but I don't mind Wal-mart.

Target is great. I find that I've gotten great deals on games there. The last one I can remember is $10 MKDS on release date.
I HATE them, I worked there albit only briefly, and I have to say everything you hear about them is true, first I said I could work about 20-25 hours a week in the late afternoon/ evening, my first week was 11-8 5 days a week, I told them I couldn't work it, and he told me "too bad, you should have come to me sooner" but it was my first day, HOW could I come to him sooner? this along with a lot of other thins made me bitter about them, also with them suing a retarded women just increased my hatered for them. they are really the only place to buy stuff in my city, but I would perfer to spend extra gas driving to mall to buy stuff
It's the only supermarket(I think) where my brother lives...
I simply don't like walmart because ANYTHING can be returned.
I hate wal-mart. They treat there employees like s**t and barely pay. They even take away money that they gives to employees for there health bills. Sure they have lower prices by at what cost.
I don't really have anything against Wal-Mart. They just tore down a Wal-Mart and built a Super Wal-Mart in the same place. :P
I usually shop at Target or the mall, which are both right next to each other. :)
I don't like Wal-Mart at all, because I heard somewhere that they require all of their products (excluding food) to be manufactured outside of the United States. >_>

something like that, since some other countries don't have as strict health codes it's cheeper to grow/raise stuff

That is kind of ironic, based on their policies.
Why would you buy games at Wal-Mart? You go to Best Buy or Gamestop for that.
Anyway, I really don't care about Wal-Mart, there are worse companies out there.

It could just be a rumor, but it seems fairly likely.
I have a love and a hate for Wal-Mart.
We've had Wal-Mart in my town since before I was born. Now, I live in a town of about 6,175 people, so there's really only a need for one grocery store. In 2005, when the new 24/7 Supercenter opened, it drove off the local "mom-and-pop" grocery store. Truth be told, the store wasn't that good, but it was nice to have a store that wasn't all LOLMEGACHAIN.
Then again, I love the convenience of Wal-Mart. We get all our food there, as well as OTC medicines. I usually buy my games there, since it's within walking distance of my house. My family can get all the essentials within a 0.2 mile drive.
So really, I don't have a huge problem with them.

It sounds like something Wal-Mart would do.
There's 3 or 4 Wal-Mart Supercenters that are located pretty close to me. Wal-mart is ok, I don't really like or dislike it.
When I was younger every time I bought something from that store it made me feel poor because my dad some serious money. That was back in Canada and I barely went shopping there. Ounce I moved to NY there wasnt a wall mart any where near the closet was in NJ and I wasnt going to wast my time going over there.
Now in Florida I go there time to time its a good chilling spot and they sell everything so its more conviente to go there any other place. I don't buy my cloths from there because it makes me feel weird for some reason. I go to Target way more than walmart ;)

GO TARGET!!!
Personally, I like Target more, but not because of Wal Mart's prices and policies and stuff. It's just cause my local Target is a lot more friendly than the local Wal Mart.
I did get my DS, Wii, and Brawl at Wal Mart, though. I got the DS and Brawl the day they came out, and the Wii about two months after it came out, when you still had to line up on the morning to get one.
So I go to Target for my everyday shopping and Wal Mart for my "it just came out so I've got to get it" shopping.
There are better stores for different things.
Personally, I prefer making my own food or buying somewhere else than Wal-Mart. Best Buy and Target have a better movie and CD selection. GameStop, of course, has games.
