So.. I was playing Earthbound on Zsnes (most people will stop reading here) and i got attacked by a territorial oak and its cohort.
So after i killed the cohort, i had to kill the tree. Well i had like 10 hp, and paula had like 3 hp, so i knew i was gonna die. But heres when things get weird. The tree's attack went like this. "The Territorial Oak burst into Flames! 289 HP of mortal damage to Ness, 289 HP of mortal damage to Paula"
Then we both had 0 HP, and the YOU WON! screen went on and said Ness and Paula gained 467893242345 EXP Each. Then it went to the Game Over Screen, and it ended up looking like the screen on an arcade when its first turned on (sprites and text all over the place) and when i was back the windows were still red like when you die, and paula was a ghost (i think thats normal) and i haven't played since......
What the bloody crap is a ZSnes
Seriously, tell meh.

SNES emulator.
Yeah, that's...pretty weird.
Are you sure it's a ZSnes glitch? It could be a never before encountered Earthbound glitch, or it could just be your computer or plug-ins.
Also, screenshots? ;D

I guess we're on the topic of emulators. If we're not linking, I don't see a problem...
That's a glitch with EarthBound.
It even exists in the SNES version.
Here is footage of it happening:

No ROM discussion, kthx.
