Have you thought of doing something to occupy your mind with some other thought before you go to bed.
Reading a book usually helps with that.

I had a crazy dream last night. It was some kind of cool video game.
Basically, the premise is to get through each level in either of two ways: one is to simply walk to the exit, which is right in front of you, or you can go through a detour. Going straight to the exit apparently does nothing helpful because somehow I knew this in my dream and I always took the detour.
The detour itself consisted of three main parts: an entrance tunnel, a room with something in it of varying size, and an exit tunnel. The entrance tunnel was arguably one of the most annoying parts because for some reason you have to push a gigantic mass of something (I'm not sure what, it was liek a big pillow or something) with yourself on it through three extremely low openings, which made it sluggish to go through the tunnel, and there was a 6 minute timer on each level, so that didn't help at all.
I remember the last level quite clearly...when I got into the room, there was a gigantic trash can, and dead silence. I did what any gamer who knows there's something definitely wrong with this scene would--I poked the trash can, hit it, etc. until it did something. And it sure did something. A giant robotic 4-headed awesome snake monster came out of it and started tossing plasma balls at me. I somehow used a skill crane to destroy one of its heads, and then it changed tactics entirely and I had to keep flipping switches on the walls to make stuff happen which ultimately destroyed the monster and then I went for the exit gate but it turned out to be the door to my room and I was liek "wth" and then it blasted down and then a shadow was there and then I woke up O_o;;
