Title: Whatever happened to the old AIM options?
Post by: Lotos on June 10, 2008, 03:11:05 PM
I'm in version 6.5.9.1, or whatever, and I can't figure out how to block the talk thing.  Whenever I try to open up a tab in FireFox, I sometimes accidentally open up a talk session with someone.  You can't even change the options with a linked screen name.  I had to log out of my main screen name and go to the old account to block people from IMing the old one (I only use it for mail).

Any other instances where an upgrade isn't always the best way to go?  *in b4 Vista*

Use a different client like Trillian or Pidgin.

Office 2007.

It has some neat features, but the documents aren't friendly to Office 2003 and back, and I think with the Ribbon, Office thinks that it is better than me :(

Oh god. The irony is killing me.

And, um, yeah. Just use Pidgin.
