The activity has dramatically dropped since the domain thing. I just checked the Smash Bros. boards and we didn't have a post there for almost an hour until I posted there. There are some boards that don't even get posts each day. I think that if we don't do something, our activity will keep on dropping and then these forums will be dead. This is the reason why I haven't been as active as before too. I'm starting to doubt that these forums will still be here by the end of this year. :(
Well, we need to find more people.
I'm doubting that they will still be here too.
Maybe if you people actually read and respond to my posts in the Third Party Board, we'd be more active. >:(

But I don't really make topics. I just post but that's happening with everyone. They see the lowered activity and don't feel like being a part of these forums anymore.

Do what everyone else does, post one topic everyday.
It can be about anything and it can be in any board, as long as it isn't spam.
I'm probably not helping. D:
Yes, the domain thing is clearly why the Brawl board is dead....or maybe because there is no hype any more? Or it sucked? Dunno, but you're an idiot.

I plan on making a post there when Brawl comes out in Europe on how Nintendo of Europe is incompetent when it comes to localizing.

Well, I"ll be on less for reasons I'll explain in a few minutes.
And nothing of value was lost? (Definitely not directed at Nayrman).
I post on another forums that has many boards that aren't posted in daily. Yet it's been alive for many years.

Also, remember, this is no Nintendo NSider Forums. We don't have all the activity of 100 members viewing Power On like Oldsider or NS2, but do you really want threads like Oldsider's Power On?
Well, unless NOA regains its consience and brings back Oldsider, thers not much we can do. :|

I think condensing the boards again is required. Serious Discussion has slowed to the point where I haven't had to lock a thread in a long time.

that was about the same time as I bought TF2
which was about two weeks after I got brawl.
I rarely visit the smash board now...
I visit all the other boards now.
So i'm active...
Hell, Iv'e posted on this forum everyday since I joined...O_o
Tri, there was that one day with the Snorkel scandel where we were closed for a day.
I'm resigning. Bye.
Let's try to stay Optimistic people.
Instead of pointing out the negativity which is obvious, try finding the solution and "Do" something about it.

That's the problem, much like in society, people belly ache, yet they don't do anything about it. In France, strikes occurred against high gas prices....hell, happened nearly everywhere. But us Americans (both of our fine nations) just take it up the ass...
Well, I posted frecuently in the Smash Board when my Wii WAS ABLE to read the disc, but since it stopped from working, I have been doing other things, but of course I'm not giving up and try to gather the money to repair it (It's a long, painful way), but still, I post frecuently on the other boards. :)
It's okay, I'll boost the activity level to over 9,000 when we start making The NSF Camping Trip. LOCATED IN THE WRITTEN BOARD.
I kind of feel the same way too... alot of the forum is becoming very innactive...
If I were to think of anything that could make this place a bit more fresh is a comeplete sweep and hire of new MODs, and to find a way to bring alot of hype to the board...
This is merely opinion, however...

Hmm, I think that some new MODs would freshen up the place a bit. All the Navs I know have been in that position for quite some time. It would be cool to see some new faces behind the staff. And member of the month didn't exactly fufill that hole.

Yeah because then more people would see those posts and respond to them in addition to only the people who look at the board it would originally belong in.
I agree, the whole nintendo board merge sounds like a good idea, it would increase the size of that board, and lessen the size of the forum.

Fresh ideas I suppose.
As for removing Ninty boards, that would be foolish, that is clearly our focus, and needs to be so until an appropriate time. Lumping those boards together would actually hinder activity, to be honest, and create an unorganized mess.
As for removing any boards, the obvious choice is the Wifi board, asides from that, though, it would be a foolish move.
Furthermore, I do believe SIT are, at least, semi in favor of the PC board, as well.

I kind of feel the same way too... alot of the forum is becoming very innactive...
If I were to think of anything that could make this place a bit more fresh is a comeplete sweep and hire of new MODs, and to find a way to bring alot of hype to the board...
This is merely opinion, however...
And I predict right after E3 this place will be boomin again...might be too crowded for my liking but whatever :|
I vote for new staff. We hire our staff from The Epic Lounge. :O
I still can't believe that place still exists, really.
IT STILL LIVES! I brought it back to activity a little bit. And by a little bit I mean like 1 post per board each day. And I thought everyone was asleep now. :(
Hmm, I think only a few staff from our forum could really be a member of staff here...
You want to replace ol' SUPERKOOL?
:(

Yes, the domain thing is clearly why the Brawl board is dead....or maybe because there is no hype any more? Or it sucked? Dunno, but you're an idiot.
Alright!
That's one board. Explain the others.
I personally like the slow pace of these forums.
NS2 is way too fast now that I've adjusted to a more slow pace.
The thing I find sad is that our most active boards are Brawl and power-on.But brawl gets only 6 members every time I look at it and power-on only gets 9 or 10.
On oldsider it was at least 50+ per board.
We actually have more activity this month than last month (by that I mean page view, members online), t's just no one's really posting. If we'd all just make that little extra effort to post a few times a day, we'd be fine.
