What's the best game you've played? Your favorite, out of all the ones you've played? I really don't need to add much more.
My favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Granted, I am being biased towards Zelda, but it's still my favorite. I <3 anyone who agrees if it's the best Zelda game in the series.
Post.
Either Animal Crossing or Windwaker.
Majora's Mask. I liked Ocarina of time also......

I like that too, it's the best RPG I've ever played.
My favorite is Majora's Mask with Paper Mario in a close second.
Majora's Mask huh? I really need to borrow that game...
Anyway, my favorite game of all time is probably Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I don't know why, I just really like it, and I could play it from the begining many times, without getting tired of it, it's just fun. Because of this, I might just play it from the begining again later :|
I would have to say Majoras Mask, its one game I never get tired of playing. Windwaker is a close second.
I can't decide. Probably Ocarina of Time or FFVII.
Or Super Mario 64.
Or Super Mario World.

I agree with the first one, but I didn't like the original Sonic Adventure.

ChaosEmeralds: I'd go with the one that introduced the emo hedgehog.
Either Super Mario World or 007: TWINE for the n64
Dang that's a hard question. I need to play more RPGs :P
Kirby Super Star.

Still Majora's Mask. Just about everything was perfect. <3
Right now, I'd probably have to say Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Use to be Legend of zelda oot now its a tie between all metal gear solids.
Standalone, it's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Clump the Paper Mario games together, and it's my favorite series, period. The original Spyro trilogy was pretty amazing, too.
HL2 or OoT
Shoot...
ALTTP
Super Metroid. It's 2-D metroid at quite possibly it's finest.
you can't do this to me...I can't possibly choose.

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.
lawl everyone who said a zelda game
But I said Windwaker, arguably the BEST Zelda game.
Again, I thought that to be one of the worst.
Look, the art style made the game immersive, and while I admit the Triforce Hunt was unnecessary, it was fun. Except for paying Tingle to decode the maps, that sucked.
I hated the whole toon thing, and the having to entertain my self during the long boat rides were the worst, everything ells was alright.
Hey, without an at least semi-cartoonish art style, (Yes, OOT and MM fall into that category) there's no way for Link to express emotion. TP proves that, Link was like a freaking robot.
I disagree.
Link had like four faces the entire time.
Here are all of them:
D:

>:(
:O
And in the original LoZ he had the same expression all the time. Whats your point.
Nintendo apparently didn't get the message that emotion is a major storytelling narrative.
Actually, they did, but they had to give into all of the fanboys wanting a realistic Zelda.
Toonlink looked to childish to take that game seriously.
Toon Link IS a child.
If you can't take a game seriously just because of its art style, than you will miss out on a lot of great games.
Then if you like games because of how they look, then you are also missing out on a lot of great games.
I give games a chance, no matter how they look.
Okami, Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty 4, Windwaker, they all are great games with drastically different art styles.
What makes you not able to take Windwaker seriously?
I looks like it was made for annoying 10 year olds, I probably played through it because I was like 12 at the time.
What is wrong with cartoony graphics/cel-shading?
I just find it kind of ironic that you have a The World Ends with You avatar.

omg, I have nothing against cel-shading, but Link is supposed to be realistic, the Zelda games are supposed to be one of Nintendo's "serious" games not kiddy looking.
And TWEWY is more like anime and doesn't look childish.
Ok, I'll let you think what you want.
I don't think that OOT and MM are that realistic, but meh.

You don't get the Ballad until later in the game, and it also doesn't bring you every ware, and the music wasn't the best.

I think he's supposed to be realistic. I've played my fair share of LoZ games, I enjoyed them, etc. Wind Waker was definetly not my favorite. The original LoZ is my favorite for some odd reason, but that's beside the point.
I'm not saying that Wind Waker was bad, I'm not saying that I didn't like it because of cel-shading. I'm saying that to this day I still say "What the hell were they thinking?".
I don't think LoZ belongs in cel-shad land. If they'd make a great real-looking game, I'd buy it rather than borrow it from Lichig0/buy it on my Wii.

What I'm trying to point out is:
Isn't Zelda a
fantasy game? The point wherein things can't get any less real?

That's true. I could understand if LoZ was anime style, actually. That would look pretty awesome. Cel-Shading just wasn't my thing, I guess.

Totally realistic.
Because of sheer fun Halo 3 takes that title. The multiplayer aspects on this game are so great it is ridiculous.
Although, Tales of Symphonia comes in a close 2nd.

Having fun with a game doesn't mean that you're instantly a fanatic. I like TF2, does that mean it's the only game I play? No, but it's certainly up there.

Not really sure. Maybe Banjo-Tooie.
More and More i'm loving Tales of the Abyss. It never gets boring.
Kingdom Hearts series is probably next because of the concept of Light vs. Dark and how blunt they are with it.
