Title: I don't see how buying a game can be this hard. D:
Post by: LinkXLR on June 22, 2008, 01:09:09 PM
Ok, so I'm trying to get MGS: The Twin Snakes.

NO ONE FREAKING HAS IT.

NO ONE.

I've tried everyone!
Best Buy. Gamestop. Toys'r'us. Game Crazy. EVERYONE!

Any other locations I should try? D:

Ebay.
My parents won't let me buy off eBay. (and the fact that I'm trying to buy this game without them knowing)

I'll be the first to frustrate and not help in the slightest by doing this.
I have it.

Anyways, have you tried places like... I don't know, is there an EB?
Sorry, can't help you much. Hope you find it, though.

Or you could just go to a game store that sells only old games.

Amazon.com.

Or local stores.

Amazon would be your best bet.

same with trying to find Pendulum's "Hold Your Color" in North America.  I can't seem to find it wherever I go, and I'm convinced that I'm going to have to order it off of Amazon... -_-

Or a gold cartridge of Nintendo World Championship 1990.

Or a PAL version of the NEO-GEO game Kizuna Encounter.

I'm busy with MGS4 myself...

The Best Buy I go to has GCN games.

I can name them all by memory.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Yeah, the GCN is dead.

It's hard to find lesser-known British bands at most stores.  You have to go to one of those crazy-huge special stores that have multiple floors of music to find that kind of thing.

well the GCN is dead and even used games are pretty much phased out. You just either have to get lucky or go to ebay.

The same thing happened to me when I went looking for StarFox: Command a few months ago. I went to three GameStops (on the same street), Best Buy, and Toys R Us and none of them had it.

Then I went to Wal-Mart and they had a whole stack of DS Accesory Bundles with the game and I got it.

1. they're not lesser-known.  their first album was a chart-topper and their recent one was too.

2. we don't have any music stores like that around here. -_-
