Title: Internet and X-Box Live
Post by: HTA! on June 30, 2008, 08:44:50 AM
I have no idea how to hook it up, as I have cable Internet (I think).
Would hooking it into the back of my PC work, or does it need to be hooked into a router.
My Comp has wireless internet BTW,  but the $100 adapter looks like a poopload of wasted money.

I had an old Linksys Wireless Gaming adapter laying around and when I plugged it in it worked.
You might be able to find one for less than the Microsoft thing.

This adapter for the original Xbox works just fine on the 360 and it's at half the price. (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Network-Adapter-MN740/dp/B00005QBX9/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1215275587&sr=8-2)
