Safe Mode System Restore?
The only way you can ever really get any Windows OS back to its original state is to reinstall it; but try different virus scanner first.
How do people get viruses anyway?
Gee. thats helpful, considering that VISTA DOESNT SHIP WITH RESTORE DISKS, NOT LIKE XP DID!!!

people put some crappy link or something on a link, usually on links to porn sites, but people can be tricked for other types of things too.

That is easily prevented by using Firefox and No Script. It's when you're a retard and download a music album that 1mb in file size on Lime Wire.
This is why we don't buy OEM people, unless there's some sort of Restore option.
I'd go find Ubuntuman, but that wouldn't be helping much.
Restart your computer, and before Vista loads, mash F8. There should be a system restore option or something along those lines.
I finally got it, it had system restore, but Microsoft hid it away in a little corner, and its hard to find O:<
Anyway, laptop is back in working order.
TIME INSTALL MY GAMES!

Get AVG anti Virus (http://free.avg.com/ww.download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition) works a lot better than norton ;)
Again, Omega? You need to start being more intelligent about what sites you visit.

And Kaspersky works a lot better than AVG.
