Already said in TS, but this is more in depth :P
If you guys remember, my 360's disc tray is generally broken. It will occasionally scratch the discs, because it "eats" the disc.
A quick drawing...
Disc Tray

OK, pretend that's the Disc Tray with a Disc in it. Where it says "disc" is where the Disc is viewable when the tray is open. I was playing Rock Band, and I had just finished up Dani California, and while it was loading the menu, "KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" I then was like "Holy poop, that's a bad sound..." ""KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "That's also a bad sound..." "KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "That is too..."
"KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "And that..."
"KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "And that..." "KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "And that..."
"KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "And that..."
"KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ" "And that..."
Finally, I got a Disc Read Error. I pressed OK...
"KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ
KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ
KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ
KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ
KRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRTZZZZZZ"
"AAAAAAAH" /me opens disc tray
This is generally what I saw...

Where it says "disc" is the very bottom of the disc. That's all I was able to see. I had to pull it out with a little force, and there were scratches everywhere. The part that I assume it was trying to read had a chain of mini-rings going across it.
So, not only am I out of Rock Band, I'm out of the entire 360. I've around 150$, so I'll have to work towards a new one from there -_-
Well that must suck.
After you heard the first KSCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
You should have opened the 360 or turned it off xP

Well, I've grown used to these sounds. After the second or third time, they usually stop, so I thought it was just trying it's hardest >_>
Wow, that is fail.
This is why you should have saved up and bought a brand new one with a warranty.
Well, I'm saving now. I'd have 250$, but I lost my darned wallet at Dorney Park -_-
You should send Microsoft a picture saying "It eats games! :O"

that one of the reasons why it's a bad idea to keep large amounts of money on you
