Today I basicly just sat around and did nothing. But at about 5:00pm, I went to the beach where they had a ton of booths (Coton Candy ftw ;D) and music and walked around a bit and bought a ton of stuff. Then at 9:00pm the fireworks started, it lasted about 45 minutes to an hour, and I was on a boat, right under them, so it was even more awesome :O
And then I walked around some more lighting off fireworks with friends on the beach. And i'm not done yet, I will be going in a minute to light off some more :P
So, how was your night?
It was good, popped some fireworks at my cousins and then went to the big fireworks show. Now all I have to do is blow up all my scratched discs that I have saved uptill now.

Mine was boring, we had a HUGE event planned like every year, but the recent death of one of our deeply loved ones has pulled it. I was very sad but I got over it. All we did was watch fireworks...
Sounds like it was a blast! I didn't really do much tonight. Just go over my cousin's house where it rained for about 4 hours.

July 4th is always going to be a tough day for me as it was my grandfather's birthday and he passed away about 2 years ago. :-\

He died at 38 from a hard attack because he fell victim to a huge flood in Cedar Rapids, IA and had too much stress in having 2 jobs and feeding a family. He will be deeply missed :'(
