How many friends have you lost over the years?
I lost my closest friends :|
I think there was about...2-4 that I lost over the course of 1-2 years.
What about everyone here?
If 0 then I envy you.
None, and I dont plan on losing any anytime soon ;)
In 6th grade...all my friends ditched me.
No word why.
They told my secrets to everyone.
They laughed and pointed, like I was a freak.
They were my best friends for 6 years. It was the worst moment I've ever had in my life.

Sorry to hear that man. I had a friend do that to me but it was all just a misunderstanding! ;)

But thats on topic. And sorry to hear for you too.
Uh, lost 4 in 2007, 10 in this year, and 4 in2001-2004. Most of my class.
Some gay poop holes who thought they were my friends moved away last year if that counts.
If it counts, most of my friends are 2-3 years older than me so most have moved on to High School.
Some of my friends moved away, but that's it. We still keep in contact.
One. I moved, and even though we were still in the same district... she just disappeared...
EVERYONE WHO LOOKS AT ME DIES :(
In the past years only one, due to the fact he threw a smoothie at me.
I lost touch with many of my friends after high school graduation, I still see a one or two every now and then
None. Hopefully it stays that way.
I lost quite a few after I changed schools.
We just didn't keep in contact. :-\
Luckily, I've been able to stay friends with some of them.
None.
But one of my good friends doesn't hang out with me a whole lot...
(Funny thing is, he's also my neighbor XD)
but were still good buddies. :)
up to this point? uhh... none, really, throughout my entire years in school (P-12). None that have really been a good friend, aside from a couple of people who moved away, or that were in a higher grade than me. I've always been the friendly kid, liked by 90% of the people who know me.
but that'll change next year b/c of University... but I'll be living with two of my closest friends, and another, not so close, but still a good guy, friend.
I wanna say technically only one. He used to live down the street and moved away cause his family is a military family. I got ahold of his AOL information, but the parental controls block him from getting IMs. In extremely RARE instances, I see him online but can't talk to him because of the block. So, yeah. With how much his family tends to move, I wonder if he still remembers me...
Can't lose what you never had.

Well, you don't seem to care.
Anyway, some of my friends moved away.

What comes must go eventually; I rather not enjoy the pain of it. I try to make friends but meh.

It almost sounds to me as though you have an "Amigo" sense of the word. It's been studied that people like Americans tend to use the word "Friend" pretty lax. Stating anyone they get along with is a "friend", so levels come into play, like Good Friend and Best Friend.
While in Mexico, the word Amigo (Spanish for Friend, for thsoe that don't know) is considered a status that must be earned and reserved for those that person gets along with really well, so there tends to not be a "Good Friend" or "Best Friend", they are all simpyl "Friends" as they've had to earn that title.

You'd be right about the level thing. Some people I know have "school friends" and "buddies", school friends being people you talk to at school, buddies being people that you know well outside of school.
One, he moved last year. :(
Then I got 2 more friends so right...

Yeah.. I don't go around and call everyone I talk to a friend. In my sense, I only have... 2 or 4 friends, and my Girlfriend. Everyone else is just people I know.
About 2. But they were disposable middle school friends, everybody has had them :P
A couple when I moved across the country... twice...
But aside from that, I choose my friends carefully.
2-3? I hated them anyways...
EDIT FTW
A whole group because they were some stank-ass ho's, and I told 'em the straight up truth.
Then not many important people then.
I've lost most of my childhood friends including my closest friend, but we still keep in touch. In total, about 10-13
I've lost several.
I treasure the memories.
Zero.
I never had a friend to lose before. The only friend I've had as of now was recently and I haven't lost her.
