All right, Brawl has been out for a while, some of you are hooked on it, some of you aren't pleased with the results, and few of you are disgusted. The question is, have you ever played Melee ever since Brawl came out? And other than looking at the differences between characters in Brawl and Melee, actually doing a couple of matches, going into Classic/Adventure/All Star, or doing Event Matches.
I've been looking at Melee, I've tested some differences between Brawl and Melee characters, I've done a few matches, but I haven't gone to 1P Modes yet. Some of my Brawl strategies don't work anymore, but most of my Melee strategies are still perfect. But I suck at Melee, still.
Gogogo!
I played melee yesterday. The game is far superior, it's competitive scene just happens to be dead.
I haven't gone back to it yet, though I may try it sometime.
The only thing I can think of that changed is some characters and the wave dashing. But I like the character changes (except Mewtwo and Roy being gone), and I never got the hang of wave dashing, so all is good to me.
Yeah, I go back and play sometimes.
Lag Canceling was taken out of brawl, so was Dash Dancing.
I tried it a few days ago, but I tried to play it like I was playing Brawl. After a few minutes I started playing Brawl again...
I need to play Melee more.
Melee >>>>> Brawl :(
Not yet...
I've been too busy recently to play anything. :-\
Just a few days ago....
I miss roy :(
I've thought about it, but haven't gotten around to it.
I like some of the things in both of them, ATs in both that I really like, and things about the characters that I like in both. Now if only yoshi had no DJC but still had a manly dsmash...
I played it early this morning to test to see if my Game Cube still worked. It does.
Everything is so much faster and heavier in Melee
I couldn't understand how I was unable to grab the ledge on Pokemon Stadium!
It was too zoomed in.
All the time. I practice with Ness a lot, since I prefer Melee over Brawl, and Ness works better in Melee.
Melee sure gets boring after 4 years of it being one of the only games I played multiplayer on (the other being Halo 2, which the 3rd had superior multiplayer to).
I played Melee and then Brawl recently. I actually enjoy Brawl more. It has so much more to offer and a slight speed reduction doesnt affect me. I finally sold it for 15 bucks, its about darn time.
I haven't played Melee ever since Brawl release or even brawl release in japan
Melee = Brawl. I HATED wavedashing, even though i was a luigi user, i thought that wavedashing datracted from what the game was meant to be, oh and Dash-Dancing is still in brawl, it is just that only a few characters can do it. (Pit included of course, The epitome of overpowerdness, or at least he was given too much useful stuff.)
There were so many different tactics in melee that the two games are really different. I never really used wave-dashing too much, but I went back to melee the other day, and I dunno what the term is, but I miss the fact that you could pretty much sprint towards your opponent and do a forward smash without really stopping or anything.
I hardly play Brawl, Melee, however, gets a lot of play time.
Pfft, nahh,
I'll be playing Brawl until/IF a new smash games comes out.
I'm done with Melee.
I haven't touched Melee since I got Brawl.
I haven't played it since I got Brawl. I really see no need to...
I played it once or twice since Brawl came out. I think I like Brawl a little more though. A lot of my characters got some improvements from Melee to Brawl. :)
And Fox's Melee voice...ew... :P

It's fun to know how much you suck at Melee, after playing Brawl.
I played melee a couple of times since I got Brawl.
I've played Melee twice since I played Brawl but only for a match or two.
I've noticed that all three Smashes have their own distinctive techniques, speeds, and play styles so I know that once I get more bored of Brawl, I'll play the 3 games equally like I did when Melee got boring.
However, I'd have to say Melee is by far less cheap than Brawl, as skill is more a factor and one needs more reflexes for the speed in Melee, and in Brawl Nintendo tried evening everything out. Like every game they make now. >_>
Yeah i played melee but i like brawl better because in melee my little brother can just spam side smash with marth and win :(
but i do know of a friend who hated brawl so much he wrote fail all over the disc and taped it to a desk at a gaming arena
