Since guitar compatibility isn't a factor to me since I don't own a console version of the game, I'm going to buy the game that has the soundtrack that I like the most.
What about you?
I'll end up buying both.
I'll just get Rock Band 2, despite the horrible name.

Probably what I'm going to do unless Activision decides to make another idiotic business move. Their refusal to leave the guitar controllers as an open medium really mad me off and nearly cost them my buying GH WT. However, it looks like they've been following fan suggestions in terms of characters and songs, so I've partially forgiven them.
I know nothing about Rock Band 2, so most likely WT because of a song creator.
Most likely GH:WT.
IT'S GOT TOOL. HOW CAN I PASS THAT UP?!

Because Rock Band 2 has Kids in America. >:(
Still, the fact that I can make my own songs seals the deal for me.

But no vocals.
Rock Band 2 ftw.
Both.
Yeah, intercourse me.
It might cost around $300 (roughly the price of an Epiphone guitar), but it'll be worth it. I really only need the game and the new drums for Rock Band, I can live with my Strat and Xplorer for now, but I'll have to shell out for the whole GH:WT package.
For me it'll probably RB2 unless GH:WT's soundtrack looks a lot better, or if Harmonix doesn't put online/DLC into Rock Band 2 for wii...
