Whether it be a "move" or "defense" or "attack" or "recovery" ...well
you get the point.
What ability could you think of to replace the pointless (see list above)^
for your main.
*If you have more then 1 main, then choose 1 ability for each main.
My main is.......... well.... I'm sure y'all know.
His mirror shield I believe is the most pointless. He has an attack called
"Angel Ring" that does the same thing as a Reflector. (you just move forward but atleast it attacks people too)
I don't think a character needs 2 abilities to reflect Anything! :D
K, your turn.

Yeah......thats kind'a.................... "Boo".
:D
Mr. G&W's Oil Can, I NEVER use it!
And Sonic's Homing Attack, I prefer other moves
And King DeDeDe's Waddle Dee throw, I find no REAL use in it

Waddle Dee Throw racks up some damage, and its useful in sudden death, I'd say Dedede's mechahammer is worse...
But anyway, I think Jiggly sing isn't too good. I know it has to be there, but...
Hmm... I guess Zero Suit Samus's down A or special attack. I hardly ever use either of them. I guess I would just get rid of her down A, its kinda the same thing as her special, but at least with the special you can hit opponents from a distance.
I really wouldn't get rid of either though, because they can come in handy.
Lucas's PK Freeze, only because it's so seldom used. It's good otherwise.
Diddy's Peanut Popgun. Does virtually nothing.
Link has nothing wrong he owns in every way possible

Down A is likely her best move...
Mario's F-air.

Except in the easily dodged F-smash department. :p
My main character is Wolf, and his worst move probably is Down A, just because you're basically screwed if you miss with it, and since its pretty hard to hit someone with it D=

I don't really have a main (which is bad), but I use Wolf, and I'd have to say his left/right B is th worst...it doesn't hit unless there is an opponent above diagonally, and if it misses, there's vulnerability while he falls to the ground
Rob's side B, even though it can reflect, it is still terrible to use.
G-dorf Up tilt attack. Its kinda hard to hit someone with that now :(
The rest of them are alright
I have two mains, ROB and Sheik. But since i agree with Ridley of ROB's side-b, I'll say that Sheik whip (side-B) is also pretty useless for me. But it can be fun sometimes.
Also, her down-B is useless if you never plan on changing form.
I would have to say Meta-Knight's teleport move is pretty pointless.
Most opponents (well human) usually see it coming and block it. And if I want to use it for recovery, I don't reach far enough to grab onto the ledge most of the time, so I fall.
The only thing it's good for is playing mind tricks on opponents, making it seem like you will attack but won't.
Luigi: Down-B, Luigi Tornado. It's a good move, I just never use it.
Ness: Down-B, Recover: It's a great move, again, I just never seem to have to use it...
Snake: Side-B, Homing Missile: It isn't a homing missile, it's a guided one, and it's only a disruptor, really.
Olimar: Down-B, Whistle: This is only really useful in 4-player matches, because throwing Pikmin only works REALLY well if you throw it in a battle that you aren't in, so if you need your Pikmin back whenever, you'd call them in, but I really don't play 4-player matches >_>

Olimar's down-B also has super armor, if you wanted to start using it for that...
I can't think of my main's pointless moves...but I can think of others.
Diddy Kong: Bannana Peel
Mario: ::)
Luigi: Missile or Uppercut. I aim for the missile.
Ice Climbers: Spin Attack

The nanners? I find those to be one of the main reasons to play as Diddy Kong O_O
Well I dissagree with you Star.
I would say Pits up throw is his worst move. You cant do anything with it unless your opponent is at a really really low dammage.
I've used his mirror sheild to beat my friend using only his projectiles ;D
I use everyone, but I'll just say for the 2 I'm best with.
Yoshi: Side B. I hate it, somehow, if I try to use up B to recover, that one is used instead, and if I roll and hatch out of the egg next to an edge, he falls off and unable to do anything...
Olimar: I don't know... I can use all of his moves with a purpose. I guess if anything I'd say his side A (Not smash)
Wario's chomp i never use because its hard to get the enemy, especially in singles.
Jigglypuff's down b because i haven't mastered the timing right yet, even though it is deadly
Warios chomp works much better in singles than in doubles :P
Its not too hard to land a good chomp if you can predict your opponent well enough. I suggest practicing it, it can be pretty useful :)
Not against sword or projectile users though :(

O EM G
I haven't talked to you in 2 1/2 months my Pit rival...
I miss fighting against you.
I never thought about a characters throws...Pit's throws are all kind' weak except
his back throw (I think).
I haven't played SSBB in about 2 weeks........ I'm killing myself.

Well at least you can do stuff with most of his throws like most of them set up for an attack of some kind.
hey thats about the same time i havent played.
Sonic's dodwntilt...it has almost no knockback, but it isn't fast enough to spam (like Lucas' or Ness'), and frankly you don't even need it. So I pick that.
Okay.
Pit: Eh, I'll say his up throw. I just never really use it.
Lucas: Probably his PK Freeze. Again, I just never find an oppurtunity to use it.
Luigi: His dash attack. It's easy to punish and dodge and doesn't dough damage.
Ike: Probably his Eruption. I just can't use it effectively.
Snake- I guess is box....or ax kick.
Ike- Even through I prefer Snake...I can't seem to find one, I fine a lot of flaws, but they're all very useful.

That's because most G&W just turtle, they don't need anything else.
My main is Shiek, and I'd have to say my most unsed and worthless move is her chain, with too much ending lag, it leaves me open for punishment.
mine is mario's down B move
Oh common, the F.L.U.D.D. isn't THAT bad. It owns Ike..You knock him horizontally off the stage and wait for him to quick draw back, and it looks like hes body surfing. xD

Oh, thankee.
Link - Rarely will you see me use his Side Strong... Comes out too slow and has some lag time at the end :P
Marth - Neutral A combo... It's just so awkwardly slow.
Ike - I really can't find any. My least used is probably his Up Strong, though.
Metaknight - Front Throw... Not really useful >_>
Sonic - Front Strong... I never use it for some reason.
Luigi's up-throw. I think throwing down works better for setting up comboes.
Zelda-upB: not so good a recovery unless you can control it right, which i can't :( Though I use it mostly for attacking whoch it's ok for
Peach-upB: also not so good a recovery. I can't grab on to the ledge so i float gently down to my doom unless i close it.
ZSS-upB: very good recovery but hey she has 2 others she could use and one is just like this one! When I use it on an opponent It brings them down to the ground which i don't find useful.
Jigglypuff-(that's right! you guessed it!)Up B: Not useful at all! but of course it has to be there -_-
Hmm...
my mains are all Females, I never noticed before ^_^;;

ZSS-
Down Throw
Run and Up-B
As they hit the Ground D-smash
Repeat or Use a smash/Side B
Lucas' Down B. I never ever do it correctly or the need never arises to use it, so I barely ever use it.
Ike's up throw.
His down throw already launches the person upwards, so why bother? :\

Ahhh, but Star, you forget. Mirror Shield can deflect both physical and special attacks, while Angels Ring only deflects specials. :) And when a deflected move is deflected by Mirror Shield it does double the damage to the opponent.

If you can time Uppercut precisely and the opponent has high damage, it's a guaranteed KO.
His tornado could be a little better though...
Hmm... Well, I don't quite use Lucario's down-b that often... Even though I think I don't use his side-b more. ><;;;

I disagree Wolf's Side B is a great trick play, and if used right, a phenominal meteor smash.
For me, Ike's B. WAAAYYYY too slow.
my main characters have no pointless moves. I make use for all of them.
Mario- B up while on the ground. It's very situational, you're screwed if you miss, and Mario has much better options.
Ness- Uthrow, dthrow is almost infinitely better when it comes to setting up strings of attacks.
Wario- Dsmash, Way too much ending lag and he has better options.
Fox-B forward (AKA Fox phantasm), great for retreat tactics and mindgames but not much else.
King Dedede- Usmash- Utilt has more knockback, better vertical range, a lot faster, and has less ending lag.
Ice Climbers- uthrow- The only throw that can't be made into a chain grab therefore it sucks.
