I will honestly be surprised if there is an E3 2009. So little was shown at E3 this year, and the companies have so many other events to announce info at that E3 is pointless. They say they downsized the show to focus more on the games, but it was the fluff and glamor that kept the conference alive for eleven years. Then again, most people thought that E3 died last year.
Long live TGS, E For All, PAX, Leipzig, and company-specific media summits. (See, when E3 launched in 1995, it was the only gaming convention in the world. Now look at all of them.)
maybe, maybe one more
Most likely. If there is one next year, there will be a lot less companies. If there is one, the big 3 will probably go just because it's tradition. Maybe not a conference, but booths.
It'll continue...cuz it's still the biggest one out htere (even though TGS is catching up).
Yea it was the glam that was hyping it up, and they'll realize that after a while and return it to it's former glory. "Stressful" they say? It's what, a press conference and a poopload of demo's...
I'll tell ya whats stressful, political events...

Just because of tradition, mainly.
Wow, they said this last year too, only because they cut out the public, seriously ofc it'll be a lot less people since the whole darn public is cut out. They just aren't use to it yet, and some maybe wished the public still got to be there, but the critics are much more important :S
