Title: I'm Trying To Buy A New Graphics card

I was thing the GeForce 8600 with be a good solution that isn't super costly. I'm just aiming for something that can run CoD4.

Sounds good, just make sure you have plenty of video memory, COD4 requires at least 128MB.

I have that much already ;-;. The minimum on Steam says GeForce 6600 or Radeon 9800 Pro or better. I have a Radeon X300.

Video Card doesn't reach the minimum. It recommended the GeForce 8500 and 8600 to me.

Don't get the 8400.

The 8600 is twice as good and only 10 bucks more.

I'm told the 8600 is vastly underpowered. Get the GeForce 8800 series or better, just make sure it works with your PC.
